About
SmartLivingBridge is a reference to what smart home listings assume a buyer already owns: a network band, an assistant, a phone with an app, somewhere for water to go, a door ready for a lock, and parts that run out.
How it works
The site does not test, install or use products. Every statement about a listing comes from the listing description and is quoted wherever the words are the seller’s. Counts are computed from those descriptions each time the site is built, so a number in a sentence cannot drift away from the data behind it.
What regulators, standards bodies and certification programs say is taken only from their own published pages and linked where it appears. Where the site could not confirm a program, as with the words UP Certified printed by a single listing, it says so on ETL and FCC and stops there.
What it does not do
It gives no instructions for electrical work, fitting locks, preparing doors, connecting drains or looking after appliances, and no advice about health, security, loads or what to buy. Those questions belong to manufacturers, licensed professionals and the reader.
It shows no prices and no ratings, and it does not rank one product above another as better. Badges on cards point at a fact a single listing states in its category, with that fact printed underneath.
How it is written
From the point of view of the person in a household who ends up setting everything up and reading the manual afterwards: calm about it, exact about what was printed, and unconvinced that any house needs to be smarter than its occupants want.
