Filters

Ten purifier listings name a filter, filtration or HEPA. EPA’s guide to air cleaners in the home says that all filters need regular replacement; the site repeats that and does not estimate how often, since no purifier listing here prints an interval.

Sponges, fillings and reusable parts

The Levoit Core Mini-P names a fragrance sponge, the Midea dehumidifier names a reusable air filter, and the Eva-Dry names a renewable filling. Reusable and renewable are the sellers’ words; the site repeats them and says nothing about how many times.

The FTC’s policy statement on advertising substantiation says advertisers must have a reasonable basis for objective claims before they make them. The site links it because words like reusable are claims of that kind, and it does not judge whether any listing here has that basis.

Batteries

Two lock listings mention a battery: the eufy prints up to eight months of battery and the TEEHO prints a low battery alert. The other lock listings print nothing about batteries, and their cells are dashed.

Bulbs

A bulb is its own replacement part, so the site fills this cell for a bulb listing only when it prints a lifetime. One does: a 10,000 hour lifetime. The listing does not say how that figure was reached, and the site does not say either.
